Full house for IFSEA’s advanced statistics thematic school provided by Highland Statistics

The first thematic school organized by EUR IFSEA was held from February 19 to 23, 2024.
This first edition was dedicated to advanced statistics with GLM and spatial and spatio-temporal correlations using the R-INLA package.
Led by two of the world’s leading experts, Alain Zuur and Elena Ieno, the course was attended by 25 participants, including 11 researchers and teacher-researchers, 2 engineers, one post-doctoral fellow and 11 doctoral students.
This thematic school will enable participants to enhance their skills by mastering advanced statistical tools. It combined theory with a great deal of practice, using ecological data sets supplied by the trainers and the participants themselves.
