The world is witnessing unprecedented levels of connection between various changes, globalization is increasing the interdependence of responses on multiple scales, and these connections can also lead to simultaneous interactions and feedback between changes.
The IFSEA’s research is based on the observation that the entire seafood sector depends on interlocking factors that need to be considered as a whole and cautiously deciphered through four research themes. The aim is to develop a transdisciplinary approach that integrates multiple items in order to ensure the resilience of seafood sector facing cumulative transformations from sea to fork.
ISFEA promotes collaborative efforts between disciplinary researchers, transdisciplinary researchers, and stakeholders.
